Ok so maybe I'm just cranky tonight but... Color me sick of the word "pivot". Pivoting = failure, trying idea #2. There is no shame in this, but trying to wrap it in a term that implies that it was part of the plan all along and everything is just peachy is disingenuous. I give "pivot" a few months before it is a synonym for "failure". As in "I was trying to hit on that girl but she shot me down so I pivoted to the girl next to her."
