I have bought several CDs in the last year, in order to get .flacs that weren't otherwise available, or not available at a decent price. Unfortunately for the music business I've bought many used. It's like $8 vs $24 and I don't need to downsample to 16/48 to save space and play on the car stereo. All older recordings should be cheaper to combat piracy. The idea that I'm gonna pay top dollar for something multi-decades old because they remastered it (which is 10x cheaper to produce) is silly.
