Kids start asking questions about sex as soon as they or one of their friends mother gets pregnant and they deserve honest answers and they can handle it, probably better than many grown-ups. That doesn't mean they need to know about all or even most aspects of sexuality, but some basic and factual knowledge doesn't hurt.
