What you say is true but it is also true that the religious minorities in Israel don't amount for much when it comes to the law. Israel's 'religious right' (the ultra-orthodox parties) have a lot of influence over marriage law in particular.
- myth_drannon 5y agoultra-orthodox are not right wing, in general they are apolitical and will join any type of coalition as long as they get the budget for their community.
- simiones 5y agoReligious parties (that is, parties who seek to further the goals of a religion) are by definition right-wing.
