    It is reasonable for A and B to not like each other, yet both A and B favor C. The moment we reduce reasonableness to consistency, we run into issues. That's why we have judges, courts, etc; otherwise, just an algorithm would solve problems.

  And in particular in this conflict. Indian media has been going after Ukraine hard for racism based on some incidents at borders and has taken a lot of Russian propaganda at face value about Indians being held in cities as human shields. I think Indian media generally is very friendly to Modi and this has been to justify his stance.
