Reading your comment it reminds me when I was drinking 4 to 5 times a day from the coffee dispenser at my first job. Was it good ? Hell no. Was it cheap ? Actually no, granular coffee would have been cheaper. Was it convenient ? Yes, it was the only hot drink available without going outside and lining at some register. If someone came to me and said “that coffee is awesome, so distinct, why can’t people enjoy it more ?” I’d be dumbfounded. As you say, we shouldn’t brigade people from enjoying what they enjoy, but we shouldn’t be barring people from criticizing what they think is really subpar either. As long as it’s just an opinion and nobody’s feelings are hurt, it shouldn’t matter.
