Let's do something about this. What should we do?
- gruez 5y agoAllow any and all speech that comply with local regulations, with exception granted for commercial speech (ie. spam/advertising). Don't give out victim cards.

- awb 5y agoFYI in the US free speech has some exemptions in addition to commercial speech: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_free_speech_exceptions https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_free_speech_ex... > Categories of speech that are given lesser or no protection by the First Amendment (and therefore may be restricted) include obscenity, fraud, child pornography, speech integral to illegal conduct, speech that incites imminent lawless action, speech that violates intellectual property law, true threats, and commercial speech such as advertising. Defamation that causes harm to reputation is a tort and also an exception to free speech.
