Close your facebook (and whatsapp, insta, etc) account and move on and encourage others to do the same.

  I'd close it again if I could, but that would required creating another one first. but seriously, closing your Facebook account and moving to instagram really doesn't send much of a message, does it? It's the same evil company.

    My comment wasn't clear. I updated it. Close them all. Use adblock and make sure they don't track you from social logins etc. Take every action you can to not feed that monster. Be anti-facebook and make your friends and family aware.

      I've never had a Facebook or Instagram account for this very reason.
