I was actually surprised that you can query across databases in MySQL, but that makes sense once you understand that there's only one database and the "databases" are just schemas.
- progre 5y agoComing from MSSQL I was equally surprised that you cant query across databases in postgres even if they are on the the same server. Yeah there is the Foreign Data Wrapper thing but the DBA was very reluctant to enable it or whatever.
