You still need some way to make typed javascript run on older javascript engines. This would become yet another babel preset you have to juggle.
Why not just use typescript directly in the browser?
- esperent 5y agoYou don't have to manage every feature in babel individually, just target browsers with babel-preset-env. Then there's not anything you have to do when new features get added.
- ok123456 5y agoIt's still a compilation target that needs to be managed by a build system. It doesn't address the complexity of the ecosystem, and just adds to it.
