- belorn 5y agoSeveral EU countries has a major political problem. In one hand they want to stop Russia military invasion into Europe. At the other hand they can't stop themselves from continuing funding the military invasion by buying cheap fossil fuels from Russia. When it come to choosing between not funding military invasions of nearby countries, or saving money, saving money continue to be more important. The presented road map is essential the same as before the invasion. Try reduce consumption of fossil fuel, fund subsidies for renewables, decommission nuclear, and in the day-to-day decision process always prioritize to buy from the cheapest supplier on the shared European energy market. Don't look at who is selling or what they will do with the money.
