I've been trying Orion these days. It's pretty awesome although there are some rough edges. The most annoying quirk is using my Airpods Pro with Google Meet, for some reason the mic input does not always get recognized (. This behaviour also happens from time to time in Safari so this may be not an Orion issue.
Looking at the orionfeedback.org, I'd say that their most important challenge now is deciding what not to do.
- Nextgrid 5y agoI have been experiencing this problem consistently with Safari for months, I don't think it's Orion-specific.
- pantulis 5y agoOne thing that I've noticed is that when running Orion in the macOS Control Center appears a new widget called "Mic Mode", which I've never seen while running Safari. But yes I am with you, I feel that this issue is not Orion-specific. But surely this thwarts my adoption efforts ;)
- freediver 5y agoThere was a an update yesterday (0.99.113 beta) - does the issue persist after it?
