- 29athrowaway 5y agoStarCraft is not a complete information game. There's a fog of war. There's much that can be done to trick the opponent into making incorrect assumptions.
- 9wzYQbTYsAIc 5y agoI think StarCraft I has a way to turn off fog of war.
- 29athrowaway 5y agoNot in multiplayer games as far as I know.
- 9wzYQbTYsAIc 5y agoNo, but for AI testing purposes it can be done.
- ShamelessC 5y agoThat would defeat the purpose of solving an incomplete information game.
- 9wzYQbTYsAIc 5y agoBut it would be neat for testing out ideas in games with perfect information. I know next to nothing about game theory, but aren’t games with perfect information what would generally be considered “fair”?
