Right. Incredibly few corporate leaders and rank and file employees have any clue about real diplomacy or how to relate internationally. Sanctions that target the right people are hard enough. Just like the missiles and shells, popular sanctions hitting military and civilian targets should be thought of quite differently. These companies, and by extension the brands of the countries they represent, are losing the peace/aftermath that will follow, I expect. Obtaining the enmity of the Russian population that does play a role in selecting their next leaders is not a great idea. And this war will end someday.
