This stuff scares me a bit. I'm of Chinese descent (Taiwanese actually). It's conceivable that if China and US enter some Cold(er) War 2 that my US assets could be frozen or worse, because ethnicity. Similar things have happened in history and I don't doubt for a second that it can't happen again or that we've progressed. Especially with rising wealth disparities leading to all sorts of political tension.
