Where do you get 50% from? Thought he only wanted to retain 5%?
- yakak 5y agoI think 50:50 equity was their personal example. But in the OP, the partner leaving seems to want total compensation that amounts to 50% of a very high valuation that may only be possible if the other founder keeps working at a discount and finds a new developer at an even worse deal just for the distribution to stay as relevant as today; unless they have very different luck or market conditions than in the past.
