That was in 2007. Perhaps someone still in the system would care to provide a brief update for 2022.
"...all over the world"? Has this happened in China as well?
- VariableStar 5y agoMy picture is that it's the same. Maybe even worse. Too many academicians for too few tenure positions. Breeds all kinds of metric to sort out candidates for positions. Quantity is king.
