Breaking - Android Official on September 23
- perdurabo 18y agoThis isn't breaking news, it's been out all morning.
- apgwoz 18y agoI wonder how useful this thing will be on AT&T. I'm not a big cell phone enthusiast, but I assume since T-Mobile is GSM, it'll actually work and be featureful, know?
- pmjordan 18y agoIf the MSRP of $400 is accurate and we don't get screwed over for way more in Europe (yeah, right) this may well end up being my first Smartphone. The iPhone seems nice and all, but €800 is a bit pricey for a phone. Obviously, this all depends on Android actually working as promised.
- davidw 18y agoI'm really enthusiastic about Android, but the way they've been rushing headlong into this makes me think that waiting for version two might be a good idea.
- pmjordan 18y agoI guess that depends on how open it actually ends up being. If the software is largely open, problems should (hopefully) be fixed relatively quickly. I could imagine that that's not too popular with operators, but hopefully the unlocked version will be nice and open.
