Blocking the source (not those retweeting) does work, it simply takes quite awhile to see results. Ultimately most of the outrage/cancel culture/ and other political tribalism tweets originate from a relatively small fraction of users. I’ve blocked thousands of users over the last few years and it’s working out great. It almost feels like the old days of using Twitter. :)
