- t-3 5y agoWhat the hell is with the editing in so many high-profile news publications today? Did all the competent editors quit or something? Did they get replaced by an "AI" with poorly written regex?
- sirspacey 5y agoIt’s not new, it’s the history of Christian education in this country. Here’s the thing - liberal colleges are racist, rampantly so. Cornell University for example. Despite huge scandals of student suicides due to anti-Asian hate, they still underfund their Asian lead student orgs and programs (when measured against the median). Pretending that institutions “caving” to activist demands is a symbol of overreach ignores the truth - universities hold self-preservation far above their duty to their students. That goes double for minorities. I had considered the Economist a source of journalism, but this is one more opinion roundup in the name of presenting both sides. Self-censorship sucks, because it’s theater.
