If the press is controlled/funded by the Russian government and has been confirmed to regularly publish fake news as part of Russian propaganda, then the only option is to ban it.
- SahAssar 5y agoOr ignore it? If a populace cannot even be trusted to hear bad, false information then democracy starts to seem like a bad idea. I don't mean that as an endorsement of any other ideology, but having a populace that can process information without it harming them seems to be a basic pillar of democracy.
