Florida to recommend against Covid vaccines for healthy kids
- giantg2 5y ago"The new guidance would run counter to recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that all children ages 5 to 7 should be vaccinated." I assume they mean 5-17. It would also be nice if they go into detail about the rationale for the decision.

- proc0 5y agoHonest question, what were the consequences? It seems time and time again people warn against some pandemic response that pans out to not have been as dire and those states/countries are fine now.
- jleyank 5y agoParents who think such recommendations are politically inspired can act accordingly, just like before. As can religiously inspired parents. It’s just political theatre to try and bolster the political fortunes of the governor. It’s like passing a law where you can’t say “gay” or discuss the causes of the civil war or other such bits of nonsense. Disappointing to think Margaret Atwood wrote non fiction.
