Will There Ever Be a 'Cure' for Addiction?

- WheelsAtLarge 5y agoAddiction is a chronic sickness. There is no cure. People need to go into life time treatment. People will respond to different types of treatment and different levels of intervention but it can't be treated as if it can be cured. At least, not at this time. Treatment can be as light as a weekly meeting to help people continue with their sobriety. But a cure for addiction, for some addicts, is like saying that we need a cure for eating.
