I like small phones, and the SE was one of my choices up until recently. I thought I was going to wait for the iphone 14 mini but it doesn't seem to happen. So I decided to bite on the iPhone 13 mini. So far it's better than the SE 2nd I've been using since the release. The 13 mini is a bit smaller, the battery is significantly better, the camera is also a lot better and the portrait is available to mostly everything (not just a human face for the SE). It has all the good things I've been wanting. The only thing missing is the finger print reader, but the iOS 15.4 allows us to use with a mask on. So far the FaceID seems accurate and convenient most of the time. If you're using an SE 2nd, consider a 12 mini or 13 mini.
