This is exactly the effect economic sanctions are supposed to have. It's no secret that businesses respond to fear and greed rather than calls for moral courage.
- mr_spothawk 5y agoCourage is a characterization of one kind of response to fear. You can't have courage without possible negative consequences to be fearful of, and then to be courageous in the face of.
