I recently showed the WSJ numbers for domestic petrochem production and for spot prices of crude (from 1985 to present) to a guy who then claimed that WSJ is a "leftist rag, pushing a commie liberal agenda". It was an ... eye-opening ... conversation. I hadn't quite believed tgat a fully functional human would just flat out deny facts at that level, outside of religious topics.
