Leaving aside general complaints regarding the housing crisis in the Bay Area, I would just note that it doesn't seem like a house has been built at all in my neighborhood in over 50 years.
- balaji1 5y agoOnly endless renovations that make apartment living in Bay Area even more miserable. While the buildings basically seem low quality to me - Hear your neighbors all the time. Definitely hear the people upstairs walking. No natural light or ventilation in bathrooms and kitchens. Old/artificial/synthetic/toxic materials including carpets. But hey, techies make decent money, always scheming to get out of here.
