- azornathogron 5y agoThe term "fossil fuel" is not (and never has been) a synonym for "non-renewable". Nuclear power is non-renewable, but it is not a fossil fuel.
- isomel 5y ago1. A fossil fuel is a hydrocarbon-containing material. The fuel used for nuclear doesn't fit that description. 2. We're talking about fission, not fusion 3. We have enough of these non-renewable metals for a very long time.
- maximus-decimus 5y agoSolar power is also non-renewable since the sun will run out in 5 billion years.
