Some anime company just got a premise for their next hit show.
- ihuman 5y agoTamamo-no-Mae is already a popular anime character due to the Fate franchise
- kipchak 5y agoIf the moon-cell shows up we'll definitely have a problem on our hands.
- joshstrange 5y agoI'm pretty sure Natruto is literally "about" (about in the sense that it's what starts the story) this. I've only seen a handful of episodes though and it was a while ago so I'm not sure.
- the_doctah 5y agoNaruto is the host of the nine-tailed fox spirit. Though it has a different name in the show (Kurama) and there are 8 other tailed beasts. So it is similar but different.
- ksec 5y agoOh that was done a long long time ago. Take a look at Ushio and Tora. The story Tamamo-no-Mae would attach herself to emperors and drive them mad, causing them to commit massacres.
- AdmiralAsshat 5y agoSure, but I'm assuming that was Feudal Japan setting. You could easily have another one with a modern setting, since the rock splits in 2022.
- ksec 5y agoWoah...... Ok I am sold.
