I like reading Noam Chomsky‘a take because even though I often don’t fully agree, I always learn something new because his sources are pretty solid. Especially here was the state department cable from 2004 about Russia’s concerns about Ukraine joining NATO. One thing I do agree with him (and others obviously) is that this is a war crime. And also this attack only strengthens NATO. So it’s quite an own-goal.
