I'm in a somewhat similar position. I have built and programmed several prototypes. Currently I'm building a website and plan to present the working prototype of one such project as a MVP. Based on what I have been reading on various blogs, I plan to conduct several email and social media marketing blitzes. I have only recently joined YC Startup School and hope that I will be able to make some suitable connections. If you'd like to connect, please take a look at my HN profile page.
