First DietPi images were provided via Raspberry Pi forum in summer 2014, as minimal Raspberry Pi images: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=83219 https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=83219. But it started as independent open source project with own website and code on GitHub in 2015. So 8 years are a bit stretched at best, but you are definitely a long time user then, that is awesome!
