Russia Funded Climate Activists
- BMc2020 5y agoPeople think Europe depends on Russia for energy because it lacks its own, but 15 years ago Europe exported more natural gas than Russia does today. Now, Russia exports 3x more gas than Europe produces. Why? Because climate activists, partly funded by Russia, blocked fracking. While I'm not qualified to discuss European fracking, Russia funds both sides or all sides of every controversy. Their goal is political unrest, they don't care what side it comes from, so they routinely fund contradictory positions.
- roneoo 5y agoFrench fracking opponent here. Fracking is a technique we have to fight against, with or without the foreign money. This guy doesn't deserve an in depth analyse: "Anti-fracking "climate activists" are, in reality, pro-scarcity Malthusians who hate modern life & Western civilization"
