- 3a2d29 5y agoMakes sense. Humans are computers that are programmed to chase dopamine, so we favor the quick release / intense dopamine activities aka addictive ones.
- sam_letter 5y agoThere is some truths to this but there is way more to the modern economy than addiction. What about electric cars, rockets, crypto, cloud, AI...?
- zoover2020 5y agoAll highly addictive. Try an EV, trust me.
- siskiyou 5y agoIf by "crypto" you mean cryptocurrency, it's an often addictive form of gambling, like many modern types of investing can be.
- cweill 5y agoEver done machine learning? Chasing that ever improving accuracy is a high like no other. It's random variable reward. Ask anyone who does ML for a living.
