That's a massive sum of money in India tbh
- kragen 5y agoI know, but when India exports rice it doesn't sell it at a tenth of the global rice price because "that's a massive sum of money in India tbh". Why should people exporting software engineering services settle for ten cents on the dollar? Because their neighbors are poor? Their neighbors will stay poor longer if they leave 90% of their potential export revenue on the table.
- wittycardio 5y agoThey shouldn't I'm fully pro people in India getting paid the same as the us. We are in fact seeing some equalization of salaries around the globe. Top talent is getting paid top dollar everywhere
- kragen 5y agoI see! I still don't agree that US$130k/year is "top dollar" though.
