Are Russians living abroad and foreigners living in Russia just collateral damage?

  Yeah I'm trying to figure this out, so if one was an expat etc in Russia how would they pay or buy anything now or book passage?

  Since government and people are even more disjoint there than here in the US, I find this to be a sort of attack on the civilians. The idea is to make them turn around and pressure the gov’t, but they don’t like being pressured like that, worse than protestors bringing your highway to a halt. Shows how the electronic world can cut you off at the whim of faraway people. In 50 years China will cut off the USA from WePay and point out that we established the precedent. Also shows that we have a worldwide credit score of sorts.

    Its amazing just how fucked up the world is revealed to be when there is greater, easier access to information... The veil on global credit, finances "liquidity" (or lack thereof) has been lifted. I personally think the attack on the russian populous is very sad. Especially frm silicon valley (remember that Visa is based in San Mateo Ca. and is a huge part of silicon valley.) Would be interesting to see what the predictions will be with Russia as a de-facto-failed-1st-world-nation. How many skilled Russian devs, techs, IT, Ops, etc people do you know or have worked with? Many for me. My close friend is Serbian, with a Ukrainian wife with parents here in the US and in-laws in both Russia and Ukraine. The smartest people I know are from there. I dont know what it is about the Caucuses region - but it produces a TON of power minds. Russia will be hitting a tech dystopian winter for some time, and its super sad to cut the people off. However, what I was thinking might happen has not yet ; larger scale cyber attacks against the west from Russia. (Or staged false flags by Ukraine with blaming it on the Russians, I thought that may be possible as well) And what happened to Anonymous? They just dropped the mic and exit stage left?
