Thank you for the links. How did you originally find yourself falling down this rabbit hole?
- ykl 5y agoI was working on a CG art project [1] where I wanted to render the final image using a real-world lens with lots of "swirly" bokeh [2], but the renderer I was using didn't have the ability to simulate real-world lenses. So, to finish the project, I had to write my own plugin to achieve this effect. Afterwards, I found the topic interesting, so I started going further down the rabbit hole!
