I'm very interested in using this kind of tech on family and personal videos that were shot on standard def Hi8. I have a lot of this footage of notable family members who are no longer with us and want to up-res some key clips for future generations, starting with my own kids. It was shot on higher-end 3-chip consumer cameras so I'm hopeful the results will be good.
