Not wanting to use expensive fighter jets.
They might think of causalities in terms of money, and not lives.
- OrderlyTiamat 5y agoI think this was addressed sufficiently in the article, but the point bears repeating: if they're really thinking in terms of money, ehy are they continuing the war at all? it's a disaster economically. The only way that works is if the air force itself is thinking in terms of money irrespective of the larger picture, but I'd find that surprising.
