Investigating Tradeoffs in Real-World Video Super-Resolution
- mmastrac 5y agoPaper linked at the top of the repo here: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2111.12704.pdf https://arxiv.org/pdf/2111.12704.pdf The results for this seem quite impressive. I am still waiting for someone to finally nail upscaling DS9 and Babylon 5.
- mrandish 5y agoI'm very interested in using this kind of tech on family and personal videos that were shot on standard def Hi8. I have a lot of this footage of notable family members who are no longer with us and want to up-res some key clips for future generations, starting with my own kids. It was shot on higher-end 3-chip consumer cameras so I'm hopeful the results will be good.
