Microsoft to halt new sales of products and services in Russia
- ldiracdelta 5y agoCompletely orthogonal to the morality debate of this: Microsoft is going to be doing a very interesting experiment here. With COVID, many companies that were reluctant to enable remote working were forced to implement it for a year to survive. Then many of these companies found out remote work ain't so bad. Now we are going to see the same thing with Russian companies being forced to Linux desktop to survive since they won't be able to download new copies of windows. Very interesting experiment.
- CTOSian 5y ago> they won't be able to download new copies of windows don't hold your breath as there is access to torrents, KMSwhatever etc, business as usual P-}
