What I'd really love to see is a way to find candidates via their former employers. As a CTO who recruits in a specific industry, I need to find employees who used to work at companies A, B, C.
- warrenm 5y agoDoesn't LinkedIn search more-or-less accomplish this? Look for people who have worked for J, Q, and U companies?
- htrp 5y agoNot very well.... even when you pay for their recruiter packages.
- Mezzie 5y agoThis is very industry dependent. Some industries make heavy use of LinkedIn, but others never touch it. For example, if they need educators, LI is pretty useless.
- danielvaughn 5y agomaybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I find it to be pretty difficult to search by that dimension
- warrenm 5y agosidebar - if your hiring criteria demands people who've worked at A,B,C companies before (either one, multiple, or all) ... you're artificially limiting yourself to a tiny portion of the potential candidate pool
