Have you tried ctx.imageSmoothingEnabled (boolean) and ctx.imageSmoothingQuality (string: 'low' | 'medium' | 'high')? From my experiments the iSE value seems to be respected across modern browsers, but the iSQ appears to be ignored. There's also the ctx.smoothFont (boolean) value but I've not yet discovered a browser that cares about implementing it.
