- nonrandomstring 5y agoWhat is striking about the language of this letter is the conspicuous absence of users as stakeholders. "Police and thieves in the street, scaring the nation with their guns and ammunition" This is what we have today. Our conversation about "cybersecurity" is reducing to whether corporations or governments are better (stronger, tougher, more expert) at protecting the cowering masses. The words "multi-stakeholder" are used, seemingly as dressing.
