So technically the US should have kept Saddam, forcing/swaying him to become a Democratic government?

- xen0 5y agoI don't think this is a good comparison. The Emperor of Japan was part of a very old, very well established monarchy; his legitimacy in the office of Monarch far outweighed that of Saddam's in the office of Tyrant.
