- mytailorisrich 5y agoRussia has already access to the Black Sea, not least since they took Crimea back.
- _448 5y agoBut they did not have unfettered access to the whole region. I think the gameplan is to just acquire the whole region and then keep tab on every direction, north, south, east and west of the Black Sea. They also get to be the gatekeeper in that area, being the dominant(?) player.
