I believe the first and second 20% but you’re saying 80% of completed games are never released? I’m curious why this would be the case if the bulk of the cost is already sunk.
- wccrawford 5y agoI think it depends on what you think "games" means. If you think it means AAA titles, then no, 80% of AAA titles don't fail at the last step. 80% of all games created, including all the absolute garbage, fail. At least, that's how I read it. It's like when they say "90% of new businesses fail." Sure, but most of those were bad ideas in the first place.
