The obvious solution to this is to change the design of the cable so that it won't emit significant electromagnetic radiation. For example, a coaxial cable will successfully contain magnetic fields for both AC and DC lines.
- riskable 5y agoYet another reason why the world needs room temperature superconductors. Actually, in this application the water temperature only goes up to 20°C (at the surface) but at the bottom of the ocean in these areas it's more like 10°C. So the bar is slightly lower.
