In Sweden also. We say "vitvaror" which literally translates to white goods.
- ubercore 5y agoWas a tiny culture shock learning "hvitevarer" when I moved to Norway too.
- BurningPenguin 5y agoSame in German: "Weißwaren" also translates directly to white goods. I think it's amazing to see the similarities in languages.
- reportgunner 5y agoIn Slovak we call it "Biela technika" which translates to "White technology".
- gkedzierski 5y agoInteresting. It would be almost same “biała technika” in Polish but I’ve never heard that term.
