I was struck by this scary thought when I saw the news. We won't know the truth until the investigation is over, but I can think of several possible explanations.
- Indeed bad weather: That may explain the coincidence of two aircraft accidents. However, weather map from yesterday doesn't show significant winds in the area. Also the area is a major route for civilian airplanes, even more so as they are now going around Ukraine. No accidents with civilian aircraft have been reported. Maybe it was fog, but it shall not affect a fighter jet so much after the 10-th min of flight, unless it is flying at a very low altitude.
- Malfunction: if it was the fighter jet only, I would easily buy that. For two different aircraft not so much, unless first accident was weather and second malfunction
- Struck by Russian air defense (e.g. from Black Sea): I really hope it is not the case, because if it is, it would be intentional (two aircraft in a row) and may escalate the conflict a lot. I don't think anyone in the nearby countries who is in their right mind would want that.
- Struck by Ukrainian air defence: I don't dare think that this is the case, because it will be a false flag in an attempt to escalate the conflict and involve other countries. It is also not something anyone in the nearby countries would want.
Let's hope it was a bad coincidence of weather and malfunction.
